Pecans taste good and are a healthy nut! A USDA study shows pecans are richer in antioxidants than any other nut. A Mayo Clinic study suggests that eating pecans may help reduce LDL choloesteral levels leading to a reduction in the risk of heart attacks and coronary artery disease.
NUTTY REMINDER: Freezing is the BEST way to preserve pecan freshness!!!

Very good, but not "Dang Good", this year. The Fall 2015 crop fell a little short of crops for the previous five years. Since I personally eat ~40 pounds per year, I noticed that the 2015 pecans were smaller, the shells were harder, and the meat was not as sweet. Probably a result of the drought. But Still, a very good eating pecan.

2014 was the 4th season I purchased a 50 lb bag of Valley Pecans. A very good snacking pecan: year after year. I eat them like candy.

What can I say? Another dang good crop. Slightly larger than last year and taste just as good. They arrived just in time because I was just about out of the 50 pounds I ordered last year.

I ordered and received my pecans in time for Thanksgiving. They look as good as they taste.I have been eating a lot of peanuts for years and decided to make a change - glad I did. I like to shell these guys, break them up a bit, add a little salt and enjoy in front of the tv. They make a very good snack.

A very good eating pecan. The shells are soft and easy to crack, the meat is very flavorful, and they are rather large. There were a few bad ones in the 50# sack I purchased, but I can live with that.
