I have stopped at several roadside pecan shops before finding this one going to Abilene. Stopped and walked the store - which is a great shopping experience but really good if you love pecans. Bought a bag or two and haven't had any other brand for a couple of years. Yes, they cost more than inferior pecans, but at least in my mind, a great value for the price. I do the four 1 lb bags which keeps the shipping cost down, and freezing the other bags.
Pecans are always fresh and tasty! I really liked that there was a $5 flat shipping charge the last time that I ordered. I always order two bags each time that I place an order. But with the flat fee this time, I took advantage of it and I placed an order for four one-pound bags. I'm from CA and discovered this place on a trip to Texas several years ago and have been ordering online ever since. They are always delicious! I recommend them to anyone!
I love pecans and these were very good and meaty. Good taste too
A lot of the pecans were broken into many pieces. Last time we ordered them they were beautiful halves that weren't broken. It's not a big deal but I thought you should know. Thank you.
I have been ordering pecans from Valley Pecans for years and have visited the store about 3 times as well. I am always more than satisfied with my orders. I do keep them in the freezer and they remain fresh for many months, even more than a year.
