A shipment of large sacks of Valley Pecans arrived in NY at my son’s home today. He sent photos of my grandkids eating them for a sugar free dessert. One grandson had a big smile on his face and was hugging a 3 pound bag of pecans. My son said it was a great gift for the family.

My grandparents drove from their home in Texas to their home in Colorado at least twice a year. When Valley pecans opened, my grandfather would stop in Chillicothe every time. He would order at least a couple dozen lbs of pecans for the family, and I would wait patiently for my portion to be delivered to my family in Michigan. I remember going several times as a child and have made it down there a few times as an adult. My grandfather passed a couple of years ago, but I have continued the family tradition of ordering pecans for our family. Not only are your pecans absolutely delicious, but every bite brings back beautiful memories of road trips with my grandfather and grandmother snacking on pecans in the back seat.
