I like the cracked ones because it is just enough work to slow me down, but they shell the rest of the way easily and without tools.
Pecans are great. However there were way too many shells and bits in the package. I have gotten better from other companies. The shell bits need to be separated out better.
My first time ordering online/mail order. I accidentally discovered Valley Pecans 2 years ago as I was traveling home to Amarillo TX. I stopped in,bought some and have been completely hooked and pleased ever since then. I stopped on my way home and bought more. They are sweet, perfect texture and taste sooooooo good.

The package comes with 5 pounds and you get 2.3 pounds of pecan halves and pieces, which is 46% of the total product, is not worth it better purchase the peeled 3 pound bag.
I ordered these as a gift for my Grandfather for his birthday. They arrived quickly, were nicely packaged and the freshness and flavor can't be beat! Super product! This is why I'm a repeat customer!
